In the recent article of Veronica R. Samio in Pilipino Star Ngayon published at exactly 12:00 midnight November 15, 2015, she declared that Nora Aunor or also known as the “Superstar” hates something about her impersonators.
Last November 7, 2015 on “Eat Bulaga’s” segment ‘Gaya Gaya Pa More Contest’ Maine Mendoza and Alden Richards impersonated Nora Aunor and Tirso Cruz III where it gave chills and laughter to the audiences, they also carry a doll with them that represents Maria Leonora Teresa that served as the daughter of Nora and Tirso. This episode has gone viral with a hashtag #AldubPerformsTogether.
According to Veronica Samio on her column in Pilipino Star Ngayon, it has been years since Nora has her impersonators and yet, there are no feedbacks coming from her but since she got a chance to watch “Eat Bulaga” episode last November 7, 2015 during its segment ‘Gaya Gaya Pa More’ she finally admits her opinion and indeed she admires how Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza delivered their roles well.
After watching Alden and Maine, the Superstar said “It’s cool!”
Meanwhile, for everybody who wants to imitate Nora Aunor in the future or even her current impersonators, the “Little Nanay” cast has something important to tell
“I am annoyed whenever some impersonators imitate me with much emotional or overreacting because, I never react in any situations more than the usual or overreact.”
It’s not a big deal for her, knowing the fact that she is one of the biggest stars in Entertainment Industry, but one must consider that when impersonating celebrities or someone you admire, you have to act properly and do not put too much emotion on it to avoid being overreact.
One of the most popular impersonator of Superstar Nora Aunor is Gil Morales or he is popularly known as Ate Gay, Gil Morales is fond of making mash-up songs while impersonating Nora that happens to be the favorite comedian of Eugene Domingo.
Secondly, another notable impersonator of Nora Aunor is Dexter Domingo or Teri Onor, where his families are more into politics, he always dream of being a politician and on 2007 his dreams came true where he won as a Mayor in the city of Abucay in the province of Bataan.
