2. Eddie Gutierrez & Annabel Rama : (married for 35 years)
During an interview with Janice de Belen on ABS-CBN’s “Showbiz Inside Report”, Annabelle described how she pursued Eddie Gutierrez when he was a big star and she was his fan. They first met in Cebu when Eddie had a show there.
When Eddie returned to Manila, they lost contact for several months, Annabel decided to come to Manila, had several dates on and off, until she got pregnant with Ruffa, but Annabel was so possessive of Eddie, to the point of causing physical harm to one of Eddie’s supposed ‘starlets.’
It was in the United Staes that they their relationship became stronger and they started a family. On November 8, 1980, they got married in Los Angeles, and the rest, as they say, is history. To date, they have been married for 35 years.
