Award-winning broadcast journalist Jessica Soho has been recognized as one of PeopleAsia Magazine’s People of the Year 2026.
According to PeopleAsia, this year’s honorees are described as “beacons of hope who inspire others to do not what is easy, but what is right.”
Soho was cited for her excellence in journalism, spanning more than four decades of reporting and in-depth investigations into critical social issues. Throughout her career, she has built a reputation for rigorous storytelling, credibility, and public service–oriented journalism.
The veteran news anchor expressed heartfelt gratitude for the latest recognition bestowed upon her.
This distinction adds to Soho’s growing list of accolades. She was previously inducted into the Rolling Stone Philippines Hall of Fame and was also named among Tatler Asia’s 2025 Most Influential Filipinos.
With over 40 years in the industry, Soho continues to set the benchmark for integrity and excellence in Philippine broadcast journalism.
