The Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) executive committee announced that “Beauty and the Bestie” is 2015’s top grossing movie, beating Ai-Ai delas Alas and Vic Sotto’s “My Bebe Love.” The former earned ₱472 million, making it a box office hit.

Directed by blockbuster director Wenn Deramas, “Beauty and the Bestie” is starred by “It’s Showtime” host Vice Ganda, “Ang Probinsyano” lead star Coco Martin, and ” On the Wings of Love” sweethearts James Reid and Nadine Lustre. Also joining the powerhouse cast are “It’s Showtime” host Ryan Bang, singer Karla Estrada and comedian Badjie Mortiz.
