Online reactions were divided following a newly uploaded video by popular content creator Stella Salle, which quickly circulated on social media.

In the now-viral clip, Stella appeared tipsy as she borrowed the bicycle cart of an ice cream vendor. Just minutes after riding it, she lost balance and fell, causing the cart to topple over. The incident immediately sparked backlash from some netizens, who criticized the content creator for allegedly inconveniencing someone who was simply trying to earn a living.
Several commenters also expressed anger over what they perceived as Stella’s failure to immediately help the vendor lift the fallen cart. Others, however, brushed off the incident, saying they were already familiar with Stella’s comedic style and tendency to push boundaries for content.
Amid the criticism, Stella clarified that she paid for all the damages caused by the incident. In a follow-up video, she was seen counting the remaining ice cream from the vendor’s cart, which totaled ₱1,480. Stella paid the full amount, while the ice cream was distributed to people in the area.
“Nagpa ice cream ako ng wala sa oras,” Stella wrote in the caption of her post.
She went a step further by buying groceries for the vendor, who appeared visibly happy and grateful in the video. This gesture earned her praise from other netizens, many of whom commended her for taking accountability despite the initial controversy.
“Minsan talaga tayong matutumba, pero ang importante, marunong tayong bumangon,” Stella added in a lighthearted note.
Meanwhile, Stella is set to appear at an event with fellow influencers on February 1. Promoting the upcoming gathering on her Facebook page, she wrote, “Sabay-sabay tayong pumalakpak sa Fiesta ng San Juan Bosco sa February 1! Kitakits mga Ka-Papa!”
