A certain blog named Verified Philippines made an article about the rumors that ex-“It’s Showtime” host Coleen Garcia will be the newest addition of its rival show “Eat Bulaga.”
The blog failed to cite where the rumor came from or even provide of screenshots of netizens talking about this issue.

Let us make it clear from the start, Coleen Garcia is still a Kapamilya and she is very much a part of ABS-CBN’s Star Magic group of talents and has not transferred to any other network.
Recently, Coleen Garcia had said her goodbye to “It’s Showtime” and it’s supporters through social media. Coleen tweeted on January 20 “I’ll miss you, Madlang People! Thank you for the LOVE & support! You’ve helped me grow & I will FOREVER treasure it 🙂 See you again soon! x”.
In an interview with Gretchen Fullido of ABS-CBN News, Coleen said that she would focus on being an actress this time.
Will she be coming back to “It’s Showtime”? Don’t keep your hopes up. Coleen said in the interview, “I don’t think I’ll be returning. Management talked to me and they want me to focus on acting.”
But quitting “It’s Showtime” does not mean that Coleen had transferred to or has any plan of going to its competitor, “Eat Bulaga”. Whoever thought of that ridiculous rumor must be joking. A still shot of Alden and Coleen on split screen was obviously photoshopped and was done for clickbait purposes. The website Chosen Trends have concluded that the rumor of Coleen’s transfer is impossible because the actress has ongoing projects with ABS-CBN.
Indeed, Coleen is part of the main cast of romantic drama series, “Pasion de Amor”. Fans have been raving about her recent emotional scenes with Joseph Marco. It seems her focus on acting is already showing in her work.
Coleen is also set to do do a movie with Piolo Pascual and Dawn Zulueta, where she will be playing the role of a young socialite. In one of her recent Instagram posts, she said she’s excited to start shooting for the upcoming movie.
