Most of us think that being a member of production staff for a movie or TV show is fun, especially when you love the entertainment industry.

Who wouldn’t enjoy seeing your favorite artists do their thing and working with people you look up to?
Unfortunately, being a part of the production staff isn’t always fun. It’s a very challenging job and you to be mature enough to survive.
Recently, Fashion Pulis posted about the bad experience of Jeff Galang, a former production staff member.
Galang, who is now a successful fashion stylist, shared his personal experiences when he was still part of a major network.
When he was the personal assistant of an actress, Galang was treated well. However, things changed when he was part of the staff. That’s when he saw the ugly side of his job.

Galang mentioned that the staff is treated like “garbage”. Imagine being cursed at all the time and not getting his pay for 4 months just because the producer doesn’t like him. When he filed a complaint against the “line producer”, Galang said she became extra nice all of a sudden.

Galang likewise mentioned his experience with Chito Rono who also swore and shouted a lot. He was told by others to understand this because Rono is already old. Galang disagrees, saying the older a person gets, the more mature he is and he should act accordingly and treat everyone with respect.
His advise to those aspiring to be part of a TV or movie production team: if you can take swearing and cursing for breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner, then go for it. If not, find a better job. If you don’t have the stomach for this, don’t take the job. Find a job that makes you happy.
