Just recently, it was reported that Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez-Alcasid renewed her contract on GMA Network. She signed a 2-year contract which gives her a lot of exciting new opportunities on the network.
Archie Liao of Remate wrote that it is stated in her contract that she will be making a teleserye.
If you remember, back in 2011, she was on “I Heart You, Pare” TV series. She worked with Dingdong Dantes. But, because of her pregnancy, she wasn’t able to finish the show.
Now, it has been four years since the songbird has seen in any TV shows except from her concerts and her cooking show, “Sarap Diva.” Regine admitted that she missed acting. She is actually good at it. She can do drama, comedy, you name it. Regine said that she would want to play roles different from her personality, so she can be more creative with portraying them.
According to Regine, she would love to appear on skits or comedy shows. Why not? She is a good comedian. Well, the fact that she said those things, Regine fans, you can expect that she will be on such kind of shows, soon. Many people are most probably excited about this announcement from Regine. GMA Network really gave her so many projects that will showcase her talents.
She is one of the great singers who are also great in acting. GMA Network did a good job of giving her more exposure this year. She has been in the business for a long time, and her staying power doesn’t seem to be fading away, soon. Her total comeback in acting, in showbiz, is absolutely good news.
