Maine Mendoza has indeed gone a long way. It can be recalled that in less than seven months, she became so famous, popular and soared to stardom, many people just love and can’t get enough of her.
She started as a mere fun hobby and her love for Dubsmashing, nobody knew that everything will be this big for this 20-year old lady.
Looking at her now, with all the achievements and not to mention more than 20 endorsements she and Alden Richards made, Maine seems to be unaffected by all the great things that has happened to her. This was later confirmed in an article written by Arniel Serato for Pep.ph, dated February 11, 2016.
Arniel had the opportunity to have an exclusive interview with the Dubsmash Queen.
“Until now, I don’t feel that I am that famous, I’m still the simple girl. You can even ask the people I work with everyday in Eat Bulaga, the people who are always with me, they will surely tell you that I’m still the ordinary Maine,” Maine explained.
When the reporter mentioned that she is currently the top celebrity endorser in the country because of her many product endorsements, Maine surprisingly replied, “Ay, talaga ba? Parang hindi naman!”
The article continued with the question “What’s next for AlDub?” Maine said, that hopefully they will have a movie this year, but nothing is final, they still have to work it out, and they themselves don’t know either what’s in store for AlDub.
To date, she is doing lots of endorsements from different companies like telecom, direct selling company, smartphone, fast food chain, retail brand, shampoo, detergent, fabric conditioner, home care products, chocolate brand, soft drinks, and recently, CDO Funtastyk Young Pork Tocino.
