It is always disappointing and hurtful to experience racism and discrimination, especially when the damage comes from your own people.

Kapuso actress Rhian Ramos, who is half British, expressed her disillusionment after being discriminated in France for using “fake French accent” while strolling at Mont St Michel. The post Ramos shared with her followers on Facebook reads:
“Thanks for the stroll, Mont St Michel! Also my first racist old lady experience in a galette restaurant with a woman who probably didnt like my fake French accent 😂 Galette na galette siya!”
