“Encantadia” debuts strongly in Urban Luzon; beats “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” by 1.9 points

The requel of “Encantadia” made waves not only on Social Media but also on the latest TV ratings released by AGB Nielsen for Urban Luzon.

If “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” was able to leave its new rival “Encantadia” behind by 21.4 points nationwide, Urban Luzon data from AGB Nielsen tells a different story. The re-opening of “Encantadia’s” story triumphed over its rival program “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” on Monday (July 18).

According to data from AGB Nielsen on July 18, “Encantadia” garnered an Urban Luzon TV rating of 26.1%, 1.9 points higher than ABS-CBN’s “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” with only 24.2% and TV5’s “Supernatural”  with only 2.5%.

Let’s see in the coming days if “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” can maintain its momentum or “Encantadia” will regain its power. We’ll see…
