Jake Cuenca topbills the next episode of ABS-CBN’s hit legal drama “Ipaglaban Mo” as it tackles the case of a gardener who was convicted of murdering his employers this Saturday (Aug 20).
Anton (Jake Cuenca) is a loyal servant to land owner Martin (Diego Loyzaga). Anton has already earned the trust of the family that he is given gifts by Martin’s son from time to time.
One night however, Anton witnessed the murders of Martin’s wife and daughter. The suspects fled the crime scene hence, the blame was pinned on Anton. Fearing for his life, Anton went into hiding.
Anton was quickly subdued by authorities and claimed that it was a police relative of Martin’s family who actually killed his wife and daughter. Suffering from police brutality, Anton admitted to the crime which he didn’t commit.
Will Anton be able to find justice?
“Ipaglaban Mo” is currently celebrating its second year on air. Since the show premiered on ABS-CBN in 2014, the show has been consistently captivating viewers in its timeslot because of its timely and relevant stories that not only showcase good values, but also informs viewers of their rights.
