The scene (from ABS-CBNNews): As far as confession scenes go, this was a pretty awkward one as it was hobbled by Iris (Nadine Lustre) and Basti’s (James Reid) two left feet and the former’s uncertainty regarding her own feelings. But to remember this scene from last night’s “Till I Met You” as “tense” rather than “romantic” will be unfair. After all, Reid, as Basti, still managed to deliver his cheese-laden lines with the emotional conviction and infectious sincerity of a love-crazed teen. One can’t help but hope that he actually makes good with his promise and viewers will never have to see Iris shed tears ever.
