Speculations about an “Ang Probinsyano” and “The Greatest Love” crossover are making rounds in social media.
On her Instagram account, veteran actress Sylvia Sanchez posted a photo with her son Arjo Atayde and actor Ronnie Lazaro.
Both Arjo and Ronnie play the villains in “Ang Probinsyano”, which is topbilled by Kapamilya actor Coco Martin.
Sylvia could be seen dressed up in her character as Gloria, wearing shirt and pyjamas. Arjo and Ronnie are also dressed up in their character as Joaquin and Romano respectively.
She captioned the photo: “Di na nakatiis si Gloria, pinuntahan na nyat kinausap na nya si Joaquin at Romano na tigilan na si Cardo. Harinaway, makinig ang dalawang Pinuno ng mga adik!!”
“Sana lang, naramdaman nila ang #thegreatestlove ni Gloria ng hindi na nila guguluhin si #angprobinsiyanong Cardo Dalisay!” she added.
However, when she was asked by PEP.ph through SMS if a crossover is happening, she directly answered “hindi.”
She explained, “Bumisita lang ako kay Arjo and Ronnie kasi magkatabi lang [location] namin hapon at kinagabihan si Arjo naman dumalaw sa TGL.”
It will be remembered that the crossover in Philippine soap operas was from shows “Esperanza” and “Mula sa Puso” in the late 90s.

It was followed by “Bituin” and “Kay Tagal Kang Hinintay” in 2002, and some of Kapuso shows such as “The Half Sisters” and “Let The Love Begin” in 2015.
