A fan page of love team AlDub has just announced a “sad news” to AlDub Nation.
The administrator of AlDub Warriors, which has more than 35 thousand likes, claimed that “Destined to Be Yours” will set to end next month.
“Destined to Be Yours” is a debut series of Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza and has aired on February 27.
The page wrote: “I have a sad news for you guys. According to a reliable source, a GMA insider told them that Destined to be Yours will set until the end of May to give way for My Love from the Star pinoy adaptation. DTBY will have atleast 13 weeks run (1 season) and there are a slim chance for an extension since both Alden and Maine’s schedules are too difficult to manage for the taping since both of them are in Eat Bulaga.
I hope we can address the GMA Network to do their best to extend DTBY since it captures our hearts. Please share this to all Aldub Nation so that they will be aware of this and we hope that GMA, as well as APT (who managed Maine) will listen to us. Thank you.”
According to the page’s source, the AlDub series will be replaced by “My Love From the Stars”, the Korean hit series adapted by GMA Network and it will introduce Jennylyn Mercado and Gil Cueva as the newest love team.
The page also cited Alden and Maine’s tight schedule due to their stint on “Eat Bulaga”.
Nonetheless, the screenshot is not enough to back up their claims.
However, we still need a statement from GMA Network whether they will extend “Destined to Be Yours” airing or not.
