Danica Sotto-Pingris has already accepted the truth that Pauleen Luna is now her stepmom.
Danica shared some of her thoughts regarding Pauleen and his dad Vic Sotto’s marriage to the reporters in one of her press launch.
The 33-year-old stated that she’s very satisfied with how Pauleen takes care of his dad.
She explained, “Ang galing din talaga ni God kasi ‘yung pagiging close namin ni Pauleen ngayon, hindi namin pinilit. Nangyari lang siya naturally, nakisama siya nang maayos sa aming lahat.
“Kasi siyempre, dun ko rin nakita kung paano niya alagaan nang mabuti si Daddy. Makikita mo naman si Daddy na he’s happy at okey ang health niya.”
Danica also claimed she doesn’t has the feeling of awkwardness towards Pauleen.
“Nawala na yung pagkailang ko kapag nandiyan si Pauleen sa mga family gatherings namin,” she said.
It could be recalled in her previous interviews that Danica has had doubts with Pauleen in the past.
“Before nandoon yung awkwardness, kasi nga parang magbabarkada lang kami,” she said.
Danica is 5 years older than the 28-year-old Pauleen. That’s why she couldn’t easily accept her situation with her stepmom.
She recalled, “Hindi naman siya ‘yung madali nami’ng matanggap. Ang daming apprehension. Nandoon ‘yung, ‘Uy, ano ba ‘to? Paano ba ‘to?’ Marami akong mga questions.”
But as more days have passed, Danica has learned to accept the situation. She said, “Marami akong gustong sabihin tungkol sa relationship nila pero lahat yun, wala na. Kasi nagkaroon na ng acceptance, ngayon wala nang ilangan sa amin.”
Meanwhile, Danica returned on television via “MomBiz”, a program by cable channel Colours Channel. She will be hosting the prograrm together with her friend LJ Moreno-Alapag.
“It’s all about being a mom entrepreneur. Hindi porke’t nanay ka na, e, wala ka nang ibang gagawin sa buhay mo,” she said.
