Maine Mendoza was the surprise guest during Alden Richards’ concert “Upsurge” at the KIA Theater last Saturday. The enormous crowd filled with mostly “AlDub” fans were all screaming of kilig when Maine entered the stage.
The Pambansang Bae grabbed the opportunity to thank his partner in showbiz for years now because if it weren’t for her, he wouldn’t be where he is right now.
“Yung experiences namin, yung mga naranasan namin together on and off cam, yun ang nagpapatatag sa amin up to this point.
“Ang dami naming natutunan sa isa’t isa and natutunan sa mga bagay na nangyayari sa amin. And we’re really stronger together,” says Alden.
The two had their fair shares of ups and downs together and Alden believes it serves as an edge. They sang to Coldplay’s “Yellow” which got positive feedback from the audience.
