GMA 7’s Legally Blind star Janine Gutierrez swears that rumoured boyfriend actor Rayver Cruz isn’t her boyfriend and he’s not even courting her. But she admits her Mom, Lotlot de Leon likes Rayver for her if ever he becomes her boyfriend.
She reasons out, “Kasi close talaga sila ni Mama dati pa. Even nung nag-movie kami before yung ‘Buy Now Die Later’ around 2 years ago. Yun pa yung huling kita ko sa kanya.”
Talks have it that Rayver is often seen at her Mama Lotlot’s owned restaurant along BF Homes, Paranaque. Janine admits that Rayver goes often to The South Grill. “Alam kong pumupunta talaga siya [Rayver] sa resto ni mama. Hindi nga lang kami nagkakasabay because yung last na nagkita kami dun was nun’ pang opening. At saka gusto talaga sya ni mama. She’s very fond of Rayver.”
It seems that if ever Rayver is ready to court Janine, Mama Lotlot will surely give him her support because it’s quite clear that Janine’s mom is giving him her thumbs-up as early as now—like any parent giving her sign of approval.
Will Janine fall for someone like Rayver?
“It’s possible. As a person, kasi mabait naman talaga si Rayver. He’s super nice at saka magkasundo kami talaga. Pero wala naman talagang romantic relationship for now. Basta sila ng kapatid niya na si Rodjun na kasama ko sa Legally Blind, pareho silang cool.”
Janine is fond of the Cruz brothers. “Si Rodjun nga, nung makilala ko, super saya kasama. Rayver naman is more of the funny guy.”
She admits she goes out with them as a group. “Ilang beses na kaming lumabas with friends before. Pero naging busy na rin kasi kami. Kung boyfriend material ba siya [Rayver]? Hindi ko rin masasabi. Mahirap magsalita ng tapos, let’s just see.”
Janine’s ex boyfriend and former love team, Elmo Magalona has moved on with their breakup. Is she ready for a new relationship? “Ewan ko, hindi ko rin masabi. I think yung mga ganyang bagay, basta mo na lang mapi-feel.”
“Right now, chill lang ako. I’m not expecting anything. Wala rin akong plano. Kung ano yung mangyayari, kung tama yung timing at swak talaga, tingnan na lang natin.”
