One of the most talk-about scenes during the pilot episode of “My Love from the Star” was the famous shower scene of Matteo Do, played by newbie actor Gil Cuerva.
According to the Kapuso actor, the shower scene was not that awkward for him, as he has done many shirtless photoshoots prior to acting.
“Sa modeling po kasi, ang dami ko nang beses nag-shirtless, gano’n.”
The 21-year-old also revealed that he was wearing underwear when they shot the scene. Asked if he is willing to become an underwear model for a prominent clothing line, the actor responded: “As long as maganda ‘yung katawan ko, yeah. I’m comfortable.”
But how about appearing nude in a film, with his private parts visible?
“Yeah, okey lang,” he said. “Basta may Photoshopped na smiley na nakaano (covering his private part),” he also quipped.
Speaking of nudity, Gil is also confident that he does not have any photo or video scandal. He confidently said, “E ano naman kung meron? Okay lang naman ‘yon!” He also stressed that he would definitely show it to the press if in case he was involved in such scandal.
Meanwhile, the pilot episode of “My Love for the Star” successfully conquered primetime on May 26. According to AGB NUTAM People’s Ratings, his first-ever teleserye with Jennylyn Mercado got a rating of 11% versus “My Dear Heart’s” 9.4%.
