Did comedian Vice Ganda intentionally touch the private part of Hashtag member McCoy de Leon during “It’s Showtime’s” newest segment Cash-Ya?
Recently, a certain netizen named Brian under @BMakazeta called out the attention of MTRCB on Twitter. He posted, “@MTRCBgov paki review ang episode today (June 20, 2017) ng It’s SHOWTIME ng ABS-CBN. Hinawakan ni Vice Ganda ang private part ng isang male host.”
He added, “kahit violated yung hinawakan d yun magrereklamo dahil sa estado ng baklang ‘yan compared sa kanya na baguhan.”
The tweets were posted after the photo of the comedian with McCoy surfaced online. In the viral photo, Vice looks like he was touching the Hashtag member’s private part.
Contrary to Brian’s accusations that Vice touched (hinawakan) McCoy’s private part, a short clip from YouTube shows that the incident was just an accident (nahawakan).
The next day, Vice jokingly apologized to McCoy and stressed that he did not intend to touch his private part. He quipped, “McCoy, patawad, ‘di ko talaga sinasadya. Mag-ina tayo, wala tayong malisya. Talagang nagmamadali lang talaga (ako sa game).”
Moreover, it seems MTRCB did not see any problem with Brian’s concerns. In fact, his tweet did not receive any likes or retweets.
