During the reveal presscon on Wednesday of Richard Gutierrez for “La Luna Sangre,” young stars Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla welcomed actor Richard Gutierrez who will be joining the cast of the much-awaited fantasy series “La Luna Sangre.”
In a taped message shown at the press conference announcing Gutierrez’s transfer to ABS-CBN, Bernardo, Padilla and the series’ director Cathy Garcia-Molina expressed their excitement of working with the new Kapamilya star.

For his part, Gutierrez was all praises for the lead stars of “La Luna Sangre,” as he recalled his first meeting with the two when they shot the teaser.
“They seemed very nice kids, I’m excited to work with them,” Gutierrez said.
“We all know naman na at such a young age, they’ve accomplished a lot. They’re putting the hours in contributing to this industry and I respect that. I respect that at such a young age they are doing that and they are entertaining millions of Filipinos abroad and here. I was on that path before and I know how it feels to be grinding and working, I respect that, ” he added.
In “La Luna Sangre,” Gutierrez will play the role of Sandrino, king of the vampires.
