Viewers are set to witness a grittier Cardo (Coco Martin) as he returns to service as part of the Philippine National Police’s Special Action Force (SAF), ready to go into battle against the troops of rebel group Pulang Araw in the country’s most watched program “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.”
Expect more heart-pounding action every night as Cardo continues his duty as a police officer to avenge the death of his son and save innocent lives from the hands of rebels.
For his first mission as a SAF member, he was sent to San Gabriel to seize the operations of Pulang Araw, who brought chaos to and killed dozens of civilians in the town. Another enemy, Director Hipoloto (John Arcilla), who is conniving with the rebel group to make it look like he puts effort into keeping residents safe in order to secure a seat in the Senate, continues to manipulate Cardo.
Meanwhile, as Cardo faces new challenges, viewers were recently introduced to new characters who add more action to the series every night. Joining Cardo in maintaining peace and fighting rebels are SPO2 Gerardo Dela Paz (Ejay Falcon), PO3 Christian Clemente (Dominique Roque), SPO2 Bernardo Quinto (Ron Morales), and PO3 Katrina Velasco (Louise Delos Reyes).
