Jake Zyrus is really on his way to becoming the man he always wanted to be.
In an interview with ABSCBN’s MJ Felipe, Jake shared his interest in pursuing a sexual reassignment surgery in the future.
“Kino-consider ko ‘yun, pero ayoko magsalita ng final.”
It can be recalled that he went under Mastectomy (removal of whole breast) last March. He is also taking up testosterone hormone therapy that’s why he’s showing manly physical features and no longer experience monthly menstruation.
Voice change?
Will his transition affect his talent?
We know Charice as the small girl with the big voice. Now that she gave birth to Jake, fans are worried that the changes might cause his voice troubles.
Jake expressed his opinion towards this.
“Gagawin ko ‘to hindi dahil sa gusto kong magbago ‘yung boses ko.
“I’m doing this for myself.”
