- An unnamed executive from TAPE Inc., the one that manages “Eat Bulaga” has claimed that the concept behind the TV segment Quiz Vee had long been conceptualized but due to unforeseen circumstances they weren’t able to push through right away.
- “Eat Bulaga’s Quiz Vee is very similar to the concept behind “It’s Showtime’s” Miss Q & A segment.
The management of Television and Exponents Production Incorporated [TAPE Inc.], the ones responsible for the longest-running noontime show in the country to date, “Eat Bulaga” had been wondering how their rival show on the other network was able to come up with almost exactly the same concepts and ideas that they have been pitching for their show.
The most recent of all concepts was “It’s Showtime’s Miss Q & A segment.
According to entertainment columnist Lolit Solis from her article on Philstar.com, an executive from TAPE Inc., said that they were the ones who first thought about the said concept.
Their Quiz Vee was conceptualized a long time ago although they were not able to do it right away.
If you’re an avid viewer of the two rival shows, you’ll notice that the concept behind Miss Q & A and Quiz Vee is almost the same. Hence, the TAPE Inc. management think there must be some espionage going on within their team.
For the sole reason that their rival show on the other network gets exactly the same concept and ideas that they have. It might just be a coincidence if it has happened once. But then, it has happened a lot of times already. There must really be something fishy going on in there.
The management of TAPE Inc. needs to do further investigation and research on the issue. For all they know, they might just have a spy within their team that spills everything he knows on their rival show’s group.
