Ronnie “Atak” Araña and Okada Manila bellboy Mark Christian Macavinta faced each other in court last December 8, Friday. Mark filed a complaint of Acts of Lasciviousness against Atak when the comedian allegedly kissed and groped him.
As stated by “Atak’s” lawyer, Atty. Maggie Abraham, they will release an official statement after the hearing in the Branch 78 of Parañaque MTC where “Atak” pleaded “Not Guilty.”
In the initial investigation, Mark led Mr. Araña to his complimentary room, Room 725, on the seventh floor of Okada Manila around 2:40 in the afternoon.
After they went into the room, “Atak” closed the door, hugged Mark from behind then kissed him. He then, groped Mark where the complainant broke off of his restraints and pushed the comedian away.
When Mark ran out the door, he called the security personnel in Okada Manila which, then, called the police. The comedian, later, got arrested.
