- Angel Locsin renews her contract with ABS-CBN Corporation.
- She has an upcoming film with Richard Gutierrez.
- However, there still hasn’t any details on her upcoming television series.
Angel Locsin remains a solid and loyal Kapamilya as she signed another contract with ABS-CBN Corporation on January 29, Monday. Also present at the signing: President and CEO Carlo Katigbak, Chief Operating Officer Cory Vidanes, TV Production head Laurenti Dyogi, Star Cinema Managing Director Olivia Lamasan, and Executive Adviser for Cinema Malou Santos.
Angel shared how happy she feels renewing her contract in the said network.
“I’m so happy. Iba ‘yung pakiramdam ‘pag alam mo at nararamdaman mong pinapahalagahan ka at may malasakit sa’yo ang mga tao.”
She also added that she has been in ABS-CBN Corporation for more than a decade.
“Lagpas 10 years na ako sa ABS-CBN. Nakakatuwa na patuloy mo pa ring nararamdaman ‘yung care nila sa’yo.”
Angel also continued that the network helped her grow and mature.
“Hangga’t kailangan naman nila ako nandiyan lang ako kasi iba ‘yung suportang pinakita nila sa akin. Ang dami kong natutunan dito sa ABS-CBN.”
She added that working for the corporation feels good.
“Nag-grow ako as an actress, masarap ‘yung nagmamalasakit rin sa’yo ‘yung company, ang sarap magtrabaho.”
Angel also happily shared that she will have an upcoming television series and film.
“Malapit nang maluto. Tinitimpla na ngayon ‘yung teleserye at tsaka pelikula.”
She quipped that they aim for the said projects to come out this year. However, she would rather have it on different times so people could watch out for it.
“Target namin itong year na ‘to maipalabas. Sana hindi magsabay para matutukan. Pero I’m happy to have work na mahal ko. Medyo matagal pa tayong magkakasama.”
Angel further revealed that she will have a project with former love team, Richard Gutierrez.
“I think sa movie si Richard kung mafa-finalize na. Siya rin naman ‘yung first choice ko kasi ‘di ba noong nag-transfer siya dito sabi ko eto na ‘yung opportunity ko para makatrabaho ko siya ulit. Iga-grab ko talaga ‘to.”
She remained tight-lipped about the details on the upcoming television series.
“Ayaw pa nila pasabi pero I’m very excited kasi first time ko makakatrabaho ang Dreamscape.”
Angel has been wanting to work with Deo Endrinal of Dreamscape.
“Matagal ko nang wini-wish na makatrabaho sila kasi super nice sa akin sila Sir Deo and excited rin naman ako makakilala ng ibang unit. Ibang challenge na naman ‘to para sa’kin.”
She added that she doesn’t know who her co-stars will be. However, she wishes she could work with Coco Martin.
“Matagal ko na ring inaawitan si Coco eh… Limang taon ko na yata inaantay si Coco pero nakapag-antay naman ako so ano pa ba ‘yung mga susunod na taon na aantayin ko? Busy rin kasi si Coco. Ikaw ba naman mag-‘Panday’ tapos ‘Ang Probinsyano.'”
