  • “Seven Sundays” makes TV Premiere on Kapamilya Box Office
  • “Kita Kita” starring AlEmpoy comes back to the small screen

Start the year with the heartwarming story of the Bonifacio family from the movie “Seven Sundays,” now available through the Kapamilya Box Office (KBO) of ABS-CBN TVplus this January, along with other movies from different genres which make for a budget-friendly KBOnding experience.

See how the Bonifacios mend their broken bonds to rally for their father who has been diagnosed with cancer. It stars Ronaldo Valdez as Manuel Bonifacio, the father who sees his sickness as a chance to bring together his four children, played by Aga Muhlach, Dingdong Dantes, Enrique Gil, and Cristine Reyes.

The hit family drama, which earned P271 million worldwide, will air on KBO on January 20 to 21, along with “Extra Service,” “Bakit Lahat Ng Gwapo May Boyfriend,” “Cinco,” and “Bekikang: Ang Nanay Kong Beki.”

Meanwhile, on January 6 to 7, fans can relive the romance of “Kita Kita,” the movie that catapulted the offbeat tandem of AlEmpoy. In the movie, Tonyo (Empoy Marquez) plays the persistent suitor to Lea (Alessandra de Rossi), a young woman who suffers from temporary blindness after a relationship ends in heartbreak. See how the two develop into an unlikely couple as Tonyo charmingly turns Lea’s doubts into trust.

This will be followed by the TV premiere of “The Debutantes,” starring Horror Princesses Sue Ramirez and Miles Ocampo, “In The Name Of Love,” “My Rebound Girl,” and “I Love You To Death.”

On January 13 to 14, viewers can rewatch the unusual horror love story of “Ang Manananggal Sa Unit 23B.” Jewel (Ryza Cenon) is a manananggal living in modern Manila. She is in search, not of food, but of someone who will love and accept her for who she is.

Also available on this weekend is “How To Be Yours,” “Love Me Tomorrow,” “Luck At First Sight,” and “Working Beks.”

Also coming back to KBO is the tandem of Laida (Sarah Geronimo) and Miggy (John Lloyd Cruz) in “It Takes a Man and a Woman “on the last week of the month. The two must find their way around working together after their breakup. Though difficult at first, they will realize that true love will find a way.

Also available on this weekend, January 27-28, are “That Thing Called Tadhana,” “Villa Estrella,” “El Brujo,” and “Mano Po 7: Chinoy.”
