Rumors suggest that Maine Mendoza doesn’t have it in her to continue the life in the limelight. In the entertainment press conference of Amnesia Love, Paolo Ballesteros publicized his advice to the Phenomenal Star.
The said film which remains under the production of Viva Film also stars Yam Concepcion.
“GO lang nang go… Of course siyempre, dapat mag-stay kasi kung baga, part na siya sa Juan For All, eh,” he advised.
Paolo confessed that he understands why Maine feels that way in showbiz. He also added that the popularity which comes with the AlDub love team had changed her life.
“Parang lahat ng gawin niya, lahat ng tao, may masasabi. Okay lang na may masabi or ma-comment, kaya lang, ‘yung mga taong pumupuna sa kanya, kung baga, inuutusan na rin siya, dinidirekta na rin siya, so I guess, nakakapagood din ‘yung ganun.”
Paolo also understands why Maine created and posted an open letter in November 2017. He added that he can grasp the reason she asked a bit freedom from her fans.
“Siyempre kasi, una hindi naman talaga siya artista, kung baga, bagong artista pa lang kasi siya, tapos ‘yung na-level na nakamtam niya, kung baga, ang artista, kailangang matagal na panahon pa bago makamtam ‘yung ganu’n, eh. So, I guess, medyo na-shock lang siya. Overwhelmed, ganun.”
Maine made a lot of impression on others. However, according to Paolo, what people see from Maine on television is what she really is.
“Cowboy, walang arte sa katawan, alam mo ‘yun, kahit sinong kausapin, okay lang, ganun.”
