On February 14 episode of the longest running noontime show, “Eat Bulaga!,” the Sugod Bahay winner mistakenly thanked ABS-CBN instead of the Kapuso network. The noontime show hosts hilariously reacted on the said incident.
Sugod Bahay winner: “Salamat po sir, salamat. Salamat din sa lahat ng ABS-CBN, salamat… Ah no, no, no sorry. GMA, Eat Bulaga!”
Jose: Eat Bulaga po. Nalipat na po ang Eat Bulaga sa ABS-CBN. Bumalik po. Tama po yun! Bukas GMA uli kami pero ngayon ABS-CBN muna kami.
Bossing Vic: Ano bibigyan pa ba natin ng Bossing’s savings yan?
Jose: Wala! (while other hosts can hear their loud laugh)
Bossing: Bigyan natin ng Bossing savings number 4, 2 sana gusto ko kaso 4 na lang…”
Paolo: May sakit po ba kayo sa puso? Ilan taon na po ba kayo?
Winner: 53 na po.
Bossing: 53 na pero hanggang ngayon hindi mo pa rin alam na GMA to… joke lang po.
With this, every time the winner mentioned the word “Kapuso,” the hosts and audience reacted through clapping and shouting. The entire studio was filled with laughter with the winner’s hilarious mistake.
“Eat Bulaga” is currently airing on GMA Network, the rival television station of ABS-CBN, also home of the longest-running noontime show for six years (1989-1995).
