Bianca Umali recently reacted on Kambal Karibal‘s high ratings. The series also stars her onscreen partner Miguel Tanfelix, Kyline Alcantara and Pauline Mendoza.
In an interview with PEP.ph, Bianca also invited people to watch the drama series, “Ang ganda po ng nangyayari. I’m very, very proud and happy sa proyekto naming ‘to. Kahit kami, hindi namin inakala na darating sa puntong yun ang Kambal Karibal. Please watch, please.”
On Tuesday, March 13, the drama series recently had of 10.6%. The competing show, Bagani on ABS-CBN only got a rating of 10.3%, falling behind with a 0.3%. Bagani stars Liza Soberano, Enrique Gil, Sofia Andres, Makisig Morales and Matteo Guidicelli.
Bianca reacted on getting a higher rating than Bagani.
“Opo naman because unexpected. Unexpected pong talaga. Before we started, hindi po namin inexpect. Hindi po kami nag-expect na magri-rate or hindi magri-rate, wala pong ganun. Basta ang mindset ko lang po is to give the show a chance because you’ll never know. Tapos ito na nga po. Very unexpected.”
Bianca spoke up about being compared with Kyline.
“No, hindi po kasi ako ganun, eh… Kahit po sa ibang mga bagay, hindi po ako ma-compare. Feeling ko, parang hindi naman po kailangan. Kung ano po ako, yun po ang mga kaya kong gawin. Iba rin naman po ang ibang tao.”
Kambal Karibal had already beat the recently concluded ABS-CBN supernatural-action series, La Luna Sangre. The show recorded higher ratings for two consecutive episodes of January 15-16, Monday-Tuesday. With 10.5%, Kambal Karibal edged the La Luna Sangre with only 10.4%.
On the next day, the difference became bigger with almost one point higher than the rival show. Kambal Karibal earned 11.0% while La Luna Sangre fell behind with a flat 1% with a rating of 10.0%.
