- JM de Guzman revealed that he thinks Luis Manzano and ex-girlfriend Jessy Mendiola are perfect.
- He added that he will remain supportive of Jessy.

JM de Guzman knows ex-girlfriend Jessy Mendiola remains in good hands with Luis Manzano. In an interview with PEP.ph, JM sustained that it would be for the best that she ended up with Luis. Although they didn’t become close, he also added that he knows how Luis handles himself.
“Tulad ng sinabi ko, kung tatanungin ako, maganda na kay Luis siya napunta. Nasa kanya yung traits na kung gusto mo yung kaibigan mo mapunta sa tamang kamay, si Luis yun. Kaysa sa iba napunta. Brod ko siya sa fraternity. Alam ko kung paano siya, kung paano niya dalhin ang sarili niya, pero di kami close.”
JM also revealed that he remains open for collaboration with ex-girlfriend, Jessy. He explained that he will remain professional as an actor to deliver. He also added that if the management wanted to offer him such project, he would accept.
“Actually, nasa management na yun. Ako, trabaho ko yun as an actor na makapag-deliver. Kapag in-offer sa akin, gustong ipagawa sa akin ng management, gagawin ko.”
In an earlier interview, Jessy had positively reacted on JM’s journey out the rehabilitation center and added that she is happy for JM to be back in the industry. JM and Jessy have friendship as their foundation and he will remain supportive of Jessy’s dreams.
“Same. Actually bago naman kami mag-break o naging kami mas matagal yung investment namin dun sa friendship. Alam naman natin ever since na bago kami nagkahiwalay, suportado namin ang isa’t isa sa kanya-kanyang dreams or goals.”
JM acknowledged dating rumors with Meg Imperial. He also revealed that he still is not ready for a relationship and it is not allowed to be in a relationship yet, according to his rehabilitation program.
“Sabi sa aking program, di pa rin ako puwedeng magrelasyon. Priorities ko muna yung recovery, family, work. Kasi di ba, last time, pinagsabay-sabay ko? Nagkagulu-gulo. Si Meg? Nakakausap ko siya. Di naman on daily basis pero paminsan-minsan.”
