- Lolit Solis scammed by a travel agent, Imee Oro.
- She added that the said travel agent claimed to be Gani Oro’s wife.
- She added that Marian Rivera and Alfred Vargas offered to help her.
In a recent Instagram post, Lolit Solis and other K-Drama addicts trusted a travel agent for their trip to Korea and revealed they were scammed by a certain Imee Oro.
A post published on Saturday, February 24, she shared her story regarding Ms. Oro of Las Vegas Travels & Tours.
Solis shared that she been to Korea many times, however, she never expected that the following could have happened.
In a caption, Lolit admitted her “kagagahan” at times. She also explained that she would sometimes receive gifts from sponsors and whatever gift it would be, she will accept.
“Ang aking horror story about Imee Oro ng Las Vegas Travels & Tours. Pang-9 times na ako nakakapunta sa Korea kaya siguro binigyan na ako ng 3 years multiple entry na visa. Sa travels ko, marami na akong na encounter na mga kagagahan pero hindi nga kasi ako mareklamong tao kaya kung ano ang nandiyan ok lang, lalo pa nga madalas ang mga travels ko gratis con amore , mga regalo at bigay ng mababait kong sponsors kaya kung ano ang nandiyan, tanggap ko.”
Lolit furthered that she at times get free tickets. Sometimes she would live in an acquaintance’s house. However, sometimes she would receive a much-better gift and would sometimes receive a five-star hotel accommodation with all-expense paid trip.
“Merong libre kang tiket, pero makikitira kayo sa bahay ng kakilala. Meron naman ang liit lang ng budget kaya ok lang backpack hotel. Meron lucky ka at 5 stars all expenses paid, meron maganda na hotel, full board meal na meron pang baon.”
Lolit revealed that she had never encountered an unprofessional travel agent named Imee Oro. She also mentioned that the female travel agent claimed to be Gani Oro’s wife.
Lolit was set to board via Air Asia the next day, but Imee called her and she would have to board via Philippine Airlines instead.
“Pero first time ko maka-encounter ng isang unprofessional travel agent in the person of Imee Oro, to think na asawa daw siya ni Gani Oro. Naloka ako na all set na sasakay ka sa Air Asia kinabukasan, bigla sa eve ng pag-alis mo sasabihin niyang PAL na ang plane n’yo.”
Lolit, then, ended her story that the airport pointed out that the trip was never booked and her name was not included in the passengers’ list. She also found out that the hotel they were to stay at the duration of the trip was only paid at the time they boarded the plane.

Lolit also continued her horror story regarding the travel agent and the agency. Lolit emphasized that Imee should have had ‘word of honor’ since the business depends on integrity.
“Pero ang mahirap hindi siya upfront sa dealing niya, wala pa akong na-encounter na isang travel agent na gumagawa ng sarili niyang istorya , and hindi ba ang isang travel agent dapat may word of honor dahil mostly sa honor system dumedepende ang business mo.”
Lolit admired Salve Asis’s cool head. She doesn’t want to spoil their friends’ dream of going to Seoul, Korea.
“Horror talaga ang naging experience ko kay Imee Oro at sa Las Vegas travel and tours , hindi ko pa na-encounter ang ganun klase ng treatment sa buong panahon na nagtra-travel ako. At dito ko lalong hinangaan ang pagiging cool ni Salve , all through out the ordeal kalmante siya, ginamit niya ang credit card niya para bayaran ang tiket sa counter dahil ayaw niyang mabigo si Vinia at Rose sa kanilang Seoul dream.”
Lolit also shared that Marian Rivera offered to pay for their tickets just to avoid a bad vibe throughout their trip. Alfred Vargas, on the other hand will help them in filing a lawsuit against Imee.
She then quoted Sara Duterte.
“Mabuti na lang at nandun si Lynette na binantayan ang booking sa Crown Itaewon , at ang height, si Marian Rivera na nagsabing huwag kaming ma-sad kahit siya na ang magbayad ng tiket namin.
