Binibini 35 Sandra Lemonon failed to take home a crown from the Binibining Pilipinas Grand Coronation. However, many pageant fans and viewers for her honesty during Question-And-Answer on not knowing the answer regarding the Build, Build, Build program.
Although she finished in the Top 15, she failed to take a crown.
In the said Question-And-Answer, Sandra let viewers know that she had studied so much for the said portion.
“Actually, you know what, I studied so much for this Q&A, but sadly that’s something that I don’t know really much about. But at least I’m here trying to answer a good question. Thank you.”
The following day on March 20, Monday, Vice Ganda and Anne Curtis defended Sandra on It’s Showtime. During the Miss Q&A segment, Vice and Anne discussed what happened with Bela Padilla. The three of them applauded Sandra for being honest.
Vice acknowledged that Sandra also didn’t know the answer to the question.
“Hindi niya alam.”
Bella supported Vice’s remarks.
“Honest siya, hindi niya alam yung Build, Build, Build program.”
Vice then admitted that he didn’t know what the Build, Build, Build program entails.
“Kahit ako, ‘di ko naman alam ‘yang Build, Build, Build na ‘yan, noh. Kahit ‘yung mga tao sa likod, nagtalikuran nagtanong, ‘Ano ‘yung Build, Build, Build?'”
Bella confessed that she even read things about the said program.
“Actually, napa-basa ako after nun kasi nagtaka rin ako ano ‘yung Build, Build, Build…”
Vice also added that he loved Sandra’s answer.
“Gusto ko nga ‘yun, ‘yung sinabi niyang, ‘Hindi ko po alam ‘yung sagot.'”
Bella likewise remarked that she stayed honest.
“Honest lang.”
Anne also stated that she would rather see an honest candidate instead of lying her way out the question.
“Honest. Kaysa namang mang-echos ka pa on-stage, diba?”
Vice then remarked that he wanted to meet Sandra.
“Hanapin ko nga ‘yang babae na ‘yan. Kausapin ko siya.”
Anne also asked what will Vice do when he meets her.
“Anong sasabihin mo?”
Vice quipped what he would do.
“Let’s Build, Build, Build. Since parehas nating ‘di alam, mag-Build, Build, Build tayo together.
