The much-awaited Kapamilya fantaseries “Bagani” requires their actors to have an intensive martial arts training. With this, lead stars Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil are being trained by Wushu World champion Lester Pimentel, who is also the co-director of the said show.
Lester is a top-awardee of World Wushu Championship in 1995. He was also SEA (South East Asia) Wushu Champ in 1996 and won the 2005 Sea Games.
Lester is thankful to be the co-director of Richard Arellano in the series. He encouraged everyone to support their upcoming fantasy series which tagged as their grandest telefantasya up to this date.
“Sana, sana, suportahan kami ng audience,” he said.
Aside from Liza and Enrique, other stars like Matteo Guidicelli, Sofia Andres and Makisig Morales underwent the intensive training under the Wushu champion.
