1. AlDub/MaiChard
The #AlDub fever continues to reign on Twitter with top trending hashtags like #AlDub145thWeeksary and #AlDubKeepInspiring. The AldDub fandom remains loyal to the couple despite the pair’s decreased on-screen interaction.
Keeping the blurred lines between reel-life and real-life, fans also refer to the love team as #MaiChard, a play on the couple’s actual names. Whichever the pair is called, fans await for what’s next for Twitter’s top love team.
2. MayWard
One of the newest and youngest love teams, #MayWard, holds the Top 2 spot.
Former PBB housemates MayMay Entrata (@maymayentrata07) and Edward Barber (@Barber_Edward_) are making a name for themselves as they take on significant projects this year like their recent magazine cover for MEGA and MayMay’s first solo concert where Edward performed as her special guest.
4. KissTon
Former PBB housemate Kisses Delavin (@delavinkisses) and rising hunk Tony Labrusca’s (@tonythesharky) love team #KissTon makes it to the Top 3 list of love teams on Twitter.
Although Kisses has other possible partners, this pair is making it difficult for the audience on Twitter to ignore them.
4. DonKiss
Another Kisses Delavin love team partner is one of the newest stars in the Star Magic roster Donny Pangilinan (@donnypangilinan). With competition aside, #DonKiss is already prepping for their upcoming movie with Regal Films called ‘Walwal’. Though a rank lower than KissTon, DonKiss is off to a lineup of projects together.
5. JaDine
With Nadine (@hellobangsie) and James (@tellemjaye) in the Top Female and Male Celebrities lists respectively, it is not surprising to see #JaDine here as well. Compared with other love teams, the on- and off-cam couple has been open about their relationship since their proclamation of love to each other at the #JaDineInLoveConcert. The couple is set to star in a new teleserye this year, giving fans more reasons to Tweet about.
