ABS-CBN Corporation will have a new full-length teleserye, The General’s Daughter. The said series will star Ryza Cenon, Eula Valdez, Angel Locsin, Tirso Cruz III, Maricel Soriano and Janice de Belen. La Luna Sangre became Angel’s last drama-action television series in 2017. It also served as the last series for the Moonstone trilogy. La Luna Sangre also starred her former onscreen partner and ex-boyfriend Richard Gutierrez.

Rumors suggest that The General’s Daughter will replace Coco Martin’s FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano once it reaches its finale. The series will be Angel’s 5th full-length television series since she joined ABS-CBN in 2008. This led others to tag her as the “Queen of Action-Drama Series.”
Angel also starred in Mulawin, Darna, Majika, Lobo, Imortal, a cameo appearance on Mulawin vs. Ravena and La Luna Sangre.
