Derrick Monasterio recently received an advice to avoid hate comments from bashers. In a press conference, Derrick avoided mentioning any names not included in the cast of their series. He also received an advice to avoid joking about courting Barbie Forteza as it looks like she’s in a relationship with Jak Roberto.
Derrick and Barbie will also star in a romantic comedy TV series, Inday Will Always Love You.
Derrick shared that he receives indecent proposals from others but he never made anything out of it and usually just laughed at it.
“May nag-o-offer ng condo at sasakyan na hindi ko naman tinatanggap. Unless condo sa BGC, joke lang. Sa socmed idinadaan ang mga offer na alam mo rin namang hindi seryoso. Hindi ko rin naman sinasagot.”
Derrick also expressed his happiness on working with Barbie on television again. He shared that they worked on a series together in 2012 for Paroa. It has been five years since they have been partnered up together on television.
“Wala pa ring nabago kay Barbie, mabait, makulit at seryoso pa rin sa trabaho at higit sa lahat, mas lalo siyang gumaling na artista. Narinig n’yo naman na puro papuri sa kanya ang mga kasama namin sa cast, ganu’n siya kahusay at ka-professional at ang feeling ko naman, nakakasabay ako. Masaya ang Inday Will Always Love You, mag-i-enjoy ang manonood.”
