Sarah Geronimo finally recovered from the memorable Las Vegas concert and comes back with a humorous retort.
While the singer-performer was giving a speech at the Kupferberg Center for the Arts, a fan suddenly interrupted and shouted, “Mag-asawa ka na!”
She is in a four-year relationship with the actor Matteo Guidecelli.
Sarah smirked after hearing the fan and jokingly replied, “Huwag po kayong ganyan! Kausapin niyo po ‘yung nanay ko. Huwag ganyan.” She also added, “Nagtatrabaho po ako, ma’am. Wait lang, ma’am. I’m working here. Don’t you distract me, ma’am? Because I’m distract-able!”
Is it still Sarah’s mom hindering her from getting married despite being of legal age and having a successful career?
Sarah, in relation to the Las Vegas concert, shares her personal reflections. She reveals the one thing that can fill the emptiness inside her.
“Hindi love life, hindi success sa trabaho ang makakapagbuo sa ‘yo, kundi relasyon mo talaga sa Panginoong Diyos,” she remarked.
She added, “‘Yung totoo po, gusto kong isipin na handa na ako, pero hindi pa. Gusto ko, pero hindi pa. That’s the truth. I want to be selfish sa partner ko. Kasi para mahanap mo ang Mr. Right mo, dapat maging Ms. Right ka muna.”
Matteo is also light with the idea of getting married during his interview with Boy Abunda last 2017.
