  • Agot Isidro shared that she is already used to harsh criticisms against her.
  • She also only take sides with her own principle.
  • However, she dismissed any remarks that she had been paid to speak against the President.

Agot Isidro only takes sides with her own principles. President Rodrigo Duterte’s supporters also called her “anti-Duterte,” “dilawan” and “yellowtard” among others.

She also acknowledged that people would be against someone who remains vocal on their own opinion.

In an interview with PEP.ph, Agot shared that she only take sides with her own principle.

“Lahat naman kasi ng kumbaga tumutol, dilawan na, e, which is wrong. Nung panahon din naman ng previous administration, I also have… I’m very vocal. Kung mayroong mali, sinasabi ko naman… Mamasapano and all that. Hindi ako, kumbaga, take sides. I take sides with my principle.”

Agot further disclosed that she already got used to jabs against her and she can handle her bashers. However, she dismissed any remarks that she had been paid to speak against the President.

“That’s part of it, e, if you speak out, go against the grain, you are inviting that resistance also. As much as, if you are on that side, they have us, pero sila mayroon din silang resistance. Ako din, may ganun. I think I have a lot of bashers, pero keri ko naman yun, e. Hindi naman ako masyadong nagpapaapekto. I believe in my principles, I stand by my principles. No one is paying me to do it. This is all me. Prinsipyo ko yun, e, that’s my paninindigan.”

Agot also added that people should speak out as everyone pays taxes and lives in the country. People should point out the wrongs.

“We all should, we all have the right to speak because we pay taxes, we live in this country. We all have that right to exercise and to voice out kung anuman yung mga hinaing natin, kung anuman ang gusto natin, mali or even the good ones. Kumbaga, amplify the good, pero punahin natin ang mali.”
