For the second time in history, ABS-CBN, GMA Network, and TV5 will be airing Manny Pacquiao’s fight with Lucas Matthysse simulcast in their respective channels as announced by Manny’s manager Arnold Vegrafia.
Arnold’s official statement was, “On behalf of Senator @mannypacquiao of MP Promotions. I am very happy to announce that we are making a TV history again. For the second time, all major TV networks, GMA 7, ABS-CBN, TV 5, Skycable and Cignal have agreed to join forces for the airing of Pacquiao-Matthysse Fight of Champions, scheduled on July 15 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.”
This year’s fight is promoted by MP Promotions, Manny Pacquiao’s owned promotions, and they are thankful for the TV media partners for supporting their goals to promote boxing not only in the Philippines but all over Asia.
“By going full blast with our sports development goals, we can do so much in channeling the energies of our youth towards healthier and more productive endeavors,” Arnold added.
Pacman’s training has already undergone to prove the world that age doesn’t matter. He is determined to bring down the younger Argentine boxer Lucas Matthysse and earn the WBA welterweight belt.
