- Carl Malone’s camp claims that he is yet to claim his talent fee from Tawag ng Tanghalan.
- His wife, however, slammed him and his mom for using his disability to get sympathy from the public.
- Carl clarified his wife’s claims through an interview with Direk Paul Ballano.
News started to circulate that Carl Malone, a blind finalist, has not received his talent fee from It’s Showtime‘s Tawag ng Tanghalan. This started when theater director Paul Ballano met the singer through Lyndon Tupas.
He is the person who temporarily allows Carl and his mom to occupy a space within his property.
Carl’s wife, however, refuted the story and pointed out that most of the statements of Carl’s mom are not completely true.

Wife denies story.
In the comments section, a woman named Cris Y-m Montecido pointed out that this wasn’t true.
“This is not true. I know the real story behind that (talent) fee. Kawawa naman ang nag-post. Pwede (siyang) makasuhan ng ABS-CBN because of this false statement.”
“Kilala ko po ‘yan. Asawa ko po ‘yan. Alam ko ang totoo. And even God knows the truth. Magaling lang talaga silang gumawa ng (kuwento). Nakakalungkot lang na ginagamit pa niya ang kapansanan niya para makakuha ng simpatya ng mga tao.”
The said woman also pinned the blame om Carl’s mom.
“Yes, they are liars. Most of the statements kasi ng nanay hindi totoo. Sila ang hindi nag-aasikaso. Ang prize niya sa TNT nakuha nya na. Kung meron mag (hindi) pa siya nakukuha is ‘yung TF niya ‘yun sa naging concert nila dati… Pero ang (slip) non ay nasa tito niya na. Kukunin na lang dapat sa ABS.
Kung tutuosin kasal na kami ngayon ni Carl at buntis pa ako ngayon, mas may karapatan dapat ako dyan dahil may responsibilidad siya sa akin. Pero okay lang. Kanila na ‘yan. Anyways my baby is a blessing. Ingat na lang po sa nag-post nito. Baka mapahamak po kayo kahit gusto niyo lang naman pong makatulong. Kasi sa maniwala man po kayo o hindi, magaling lang talaga silang gumawa ng kwento at kumuha ng simpatya ng mga tao. Paki sabi na lang din po na kung sana marunong siyang lumingon sa responsibilidad niya, baka saka lang gumanda ang buhay niya, nila.”

The director decided to interview Carl to clarify that they already got all the TNT prize aside from the talent fees from mall shows and events. When direk Paul asked Carl about his wife’s claims, he shared that he and his wife are in the middle of a misunderstanding.
“‘Di kami magkaintindihan, eh… Kasi pinipilit niya akong sumama sa kanila. Eh, ang hanap buhay sa Bicol ay sadyang mahirap. ‘Yung sa kanila, gusto nila ‘yung suntok sa buwan lang. Sa akin kasi, sir, mas gusto ko ‘yung nakakapagprovide pa rin ako. So, iniisip ko lang naman ‘yung kapakanan niya which hindi niya na nahintay…”
Carl gets his checks.
Paul recently posted a good news on his Facebook account. Carl, through his uncle, finally got his checks from ABS-CBN.
“At last.. Carl Malone through his Tito got his checks now. Thank you ABSCBN s inyong pag aksyon s post ko. No more fighting just love.
Aabangan n lang namin un checks nya ng Gen. San at zamboanga event nya. Kulang pa pero antayin natin and lets give them the benefit of the doubt.
