- Dennis Trillo and Dingdong Dantes are set to star in a TV project.
- Dennis also has an upcoming movie with Kim Chiu titled One Great Love.
- Taping for the series will start after Dennis is done with the movie.
From the looks of it, the rest of 2018 will be very busy for Dennis Trillo, one of the prime male Kapuso artists.
Just recently, Regal Films announced that Dennis Trillo will be part of a new movie titled One Great Love where he will be paired with Kapamilya star Kim Chiu for the first time.
The movie’s story conference happened on July 30, 2018. Filming started the very next day.
The actor was at first hesitant to accept the movie offer since he wanted to take some time off after working non-stop in the last few months. But upon being briefed about the story of One Great Love and reading the script, Dennis changed his mind and agreed to do it.
“Ayaw ko na sana magdagdag ng load. Pero nung nabasa ko ‘yong script, sabi ko magandang opportunity ‘to,” he explained. “My role is Ian. Siya yung ideal boyfriend na matino. Tapos, kung bakit ‘One Great Love’ ay kailangan na nilang panoorin.”
Once he is done filming the movie, Dennis Trillo will immediately start taping for his new TV series in GMA where he will be working with Dingdong Dantes.
Dingdong Dantes and Dennis Trillo first worked together in the series Twin Hearts in 2004. In 2010, they appeared in the Filipino adaptation of the popular Korean series Endless Love.
Dennis shared that this new project is unlike his previous projects with Dingdong, “Bagong project, of course. Syempre parang itong show na gagawin namin ay medyo heavy drama at may kaunting action.”
Details of the upcoming series are yet to be announced by GMA.
