Warner Bros. Pictures released a video of Filipino-American actor Nico Santos, one of the cast members of Crazy Rich Asians inviting fellow Pinoys to watch the movie.
In the movie, Nico Santos plays Oliver T’sien, a fashion designer.
Santos mentioned that he is proud to be in the movie. Another Filipino actress is included in the cast, no other than Kris Aquino.
The movie is based on the contemporary romantic-comedy novel by Kevin Kwan. Nico and Kris are joined by international Asian stars such as Constance Wu, Henry Golding, Gemma Chan, Lisa Lu, and Awkwafina, with Ken Jeong, Michelle Yeoh, Sonoya Mizuno, Chris Pang, Jimmy O. Yang, Ronny Chieng, and Remi Hii.
The movie is directed by Jon M. Chu.
Crazy Rich Asians hits Philippine cinemas starting August 22.
