Kris Aquino was rumored to star in an upcoming Kapuso sitcom, Daddy’s Gurl which has Vic Sotto, Maine Mendoza, Jose Manalo and Wally Bayola as its leads.
According to Kris herself, she is not a part of the sitcom’s cast. Kris clarified the said rumors in an Instagram post on September 25, Monday.

In the said video, Kris noted her long-expressed gratitude to the people behind ‘Daddy’s Gurl.’ But for the record, she isn’t part of the show.
“i am reacting to this post forwarded to me by some friends to clarify: the MZET produced show starring Vic Sotto, Maine Mendoza, and Wally Bayola was never offered to me- I AM NOT A PART OF THE CAST. i have expressed lifelong gratitude to Vic, Mr. Tuviera, and Boss Orly Ilacad because Bimb’s first movie was Little Bossings w/ Ryzza for MMFF 2013. I also stated my heartfelt thanks to Maine Mendoza for being my first ever FB Live & Unscripted guest when i started my digital venture. Direk Chris Martinez wrote Sukob together with Direk Chito Roño… all of them have been angels who generously contributed to my professional growth, and i wish them much success for GMA Network’s Daddy’s Gurl.”

“Would u mind giving me your new show’s real cast?”
Direk Chris greeted her and revealed the main cast.
“Hi, Kris. Main cast is Vic Sotto, Maine Mendoza, Wally Bayola”
Direk Chris then asked her if she wanted to guest in the show.
“Gusto mo mag guest?! Lika na! Haha”
Daddy’s Gurl will replace GMA Network’s The Clash when it ends.
