Lea Salonga recently praised Daniel Padilla by calling the young actor a “consummate professional.”
This is due to the efforts Daniel does during the preparation for his upcoming concert “Daniel Padilla Back at the Araneta” on October 13.
The singer praised Daniel for showing up at the first rehearsal knowing his material.
Turns out, Lea is not the only celebrity who thinks of Daniel this way.
In Lea’s Facebook post, several celebrities commented their concurrence. Paolo Valenciano, son of Gary V., commented, “I’ve heard nothing but good things about this guy.”
Mark Escueta added, “Magaling yan at mabait.”
Chito Miranda, the lead vocalist of the iconic “Parokya ni Edgar” band, wrote, “Agree. Mapagkumbaba talaga.”
Thyro Alvaro, a renowned R&B Artist, also agreed with Lea, “I’ve recorded him a number of times and he always shows up prepared.
“He knows his material. Whether it’s an ad or a song.”
Lea then asked Thyro if he thinks of Daniel as the norm or something unique. He replied that Padilla is not just an “actor who sings,” he is a professional singer.
Award-winning singer Jed Madela also has the same thoughts about Daniel Padilla.
