“Kadenang Ginto” beats “Ika-5 Utos” in both Kantar Media and NUTAM TV ratings

“Kadenang Ginto” is definitely a winner not just on social media but also in TV ratings.

ABS-CBN’s ratings provider Kantar Media and even GMA Network’s NUTAM agree that the newest Kapamilya drama is a winner in TV ratings.


Based on the latest data from Nielsen TV Audience Measurement (NUTAM) on November 2 (Friday), “Kadenang Ginto” registered an average of 8.7% ahead of its Kapuso rival drama “Ika-5 Utos” which only got 5.5%.

“Kadenang Ginto” last Friday (November 2) recorded a national TV rating of 18.0% versus “Ika-5 Utos” (12.0%).

The newest addition to ABS-CBN Kapamilya Gold’s roster of programs brings us the story of Romina (Beauty Gonzalez), a simple secretary turned wife to successful business tycoon Robert (Albert Martinez), who married her after bearing the child of her rapist. Unknown to Romina, it was Daniela (Dimples Romana), the rebellious daughter of Robert, who planned the crime.

Daniela also successfully seduced Romina’s fiancé, Carlos (Adrian Alandy) so he ended up leaving Romina and marries Daniela instead. With their lives now intertwined, their daughters, Cassandra (Francine Diaz) and Margaret (Andrea Brillantes), are pitted against each other as the rightful heir to Robert’s empire.
