2018 seemed to lack TV projects for Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza as their love team, AlDub. Their last project together was Destined to be Yours in 2017.
They, however, are allegedly set to make a comeback in 2019.

After Destined to be Yours, Alden and Maine have been in separate projects on televisions and in movies. He starred in as the lead in Victor Magtanggol. Maine, on the other hand, currently stars in Daddy’s Gurl.

Alden and Maine held an AlDub Nation Timeless event. They spent time with their fans. Both artists have been attending fan events, especially the Timeless, since 2016.
AlDub in Sunday PinaSaya?
After Regine Velasquez-Alcasid transferred to ABS-CBN, GMA Network is rumored to revive the love team on Sunday PinaSaya. This, however, wasn’t confirmed nor denied as there were still mysteries between Maine and Alden which remained unsolved.

Even the leading lady of the love team doesn’t know their future together. In an earlier report, Maine explained that she still hoped for a project with him in the future.

At the start of 2018, a lot o AlDub fans clamored or a movie. Alden considers his long-delayed movie with Maine as one movie option that he hopes pushes through in 2019.
