Not one, but three Kapamilya stars are counted as one of the World’s Most Beautiful Faces of 2018 according to The Independent Critic of British film critic, TC Candler.
Soberano was recognized as number one in 2017. In 2018, she only ranked 4th. Mendiola made it to the 55th place while Lustre is at the 70th spot.
According to TC Candler, the Kapamilya stars were included because “they represent the modern ideal of worldwide beauty with the criteria of aesthetic perfection, grace, elegance, originality, daring, passion, class, poise, joy, promise, hope as embodied in a beautiful face.”
International actresses such as Michelle Pfeiffer, Meg Ryan, and Marion Cottilard are included in the list. However, the most beautiful face this year who ranked number one is the French model Thylane Blondeau.
Taiwanese singer Chou Tzu-yu ranked 2nd and Israeli model Yael Shelbia followed on 3rd place.
This is not the first time Blondeau was pronounced the most beautiful face of the year. She first made it to the top when she was still 6 years old in the year 2007.
Meanwhile, the Most Handsome Face of 2018 is the Aquaman star Jason Momoa.
