Lauren Young answers back at bashers after pointing out someone is lying on the Elmo Magalona, Janella Salvador abuse issue

In a recent press conference of the GMA Network’s upcoming television series ‘Hiram na Anak,’ supporting cast member Lauren Young got into an interview with PEP.ph about the break-up issue of the former loveteam Elmo Magalona and Janella Salvador. She shared her opinion regarding the alleged physical abuse that came about the ex-lovers separation in October 2018.

In her statement, she pointed out that one of the ex-lovers was lying and this reached Janella’s fans and they didn’t like what they heard.

Prior to Elmo’s relationship with Janella, Lauren Young also went on a romantic relationship with him for three years. Elmo’s mother Pia Magalona is even the manager of Lauren up to this time. Knowing the Magalona family very well, she was shocked about the accusation that was disclosed, but she was still uncertain if such an act was actually done. She also clarified that she is not taking any sides and that its none of her business anyway.

“I know Elmo very differently. I mean, siyempre ang pangit kasi if I would say I believe the girl, then what will my management say about it? But if I say I believe the boy, then everyone’s gonna be like, ‘Oh, you’re a victim blamer!’”

The actress, whose manager is Elmo’s mom, Pia Magalona, said, “I mean, no matter what I say, someone will get angry. But for me, the safest answer and most showbiz answer for tonight is, it’s none of my business because hindi ko kilala si Janella.”

When asked if she ever had experienced physical abuse from Elmo, She said, “Nope! Do you think someone can hit me? Sapakin kita diyan, upuan ko lang sila. Charot!” She said, “I think someone is lying. I don’t know… Sometimes, some people bend the truth, some people… Sucks if it’s true, sucks if it’s not true. Then someone is a liar. But for me, it’s none of my business.”

When Lauren somehow pointed out that either of the ex-lovers is lying, Janella’s fans got infuriated that they came out swinging on Twitter having word wars with Lauren. This started when PEP.ph’s official Twitter account posted a photo of Lauren Young stating that they still love her despite her ‘kontrabida’ role in her upcoming series.

A fan of Janella named @Super_Faney angrily commented on the post saying, “BAGAY NAMAN SAYO KONTRABIDA! SAWSAWERA! ANG EXPRIENCE MO, IBA SA EXPERIENCE NILA JANINE AT JANELLA WITH ELMO AY IBA! KAYA WALA KANG K NA IMPLY NA NAGSISINUNGALING SI JANELLA! BABAE KA DIN. ANG WISH KO ONE DAY MAY MANAKIT SAYO AT SABIHINNG NAGSISINUNGALING KA PAG KWENENTO MO!!!.” Lauren seeing the post responded back with, “Say this to my face if ever you see me. I dare you.”

The exchanging of words went on and the fan ranted on saying that Lauren is the one contradicting and is the one lying.

And finally, Lauren again pointed out to the fan that she never said that Janella was lying and that it’s all just a misunderstanding.
