GMA Network’s comedy-drama series ‘Daddy’s Gurl’ director Chris Martinez was bombarded by netizens on social media, after posting about a reunion of the AlDub loveteam in the show.
Ever since the ‘Kalyeserye’ soap opera parody segment was aired live on the variety show ‘Eat Bulaga!,’ the AlDub tandem evolved and was loved by many. But sadly for avid fans, it turned out that the love team will no longer bring things to the next level, as Maine Mendoza herself admitted that she and Arjo Atayde are officially dating.
On the afternoon series ‘Daddy’s Gurl,’ that stars Vic Sotto and Maine Mendoza, the series director Chris Martinez posted an invitation in his Twitter account by announcing to watch out for their Sunday episode on March 09 as Alden Richards will be the special guest on the show and will be playing Maine’s childhood crush.
However, despite the excitement of some fans over the Kapuso love team being on the single screen again, some expressed their negativity and even threatened the director. They claimed that it will be the last episode of the show that they would watch.
